Full Stack Developer

Position

As a Full Stack Developer you'll be working with our 4-person dev team. You'll be involved in helping shape and develop exciting new ways to make direct impact on how patients interact with healthcare services. We are actively developing and iterating on how to deliver a great product to an expanding audience, so brainstorming and exploration are a part of our process.

Being a small team allows our developers to have a big impact on the final solution. Our company and all of the founders have a technology background. We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic developer that likes a startup environment (the constant change & the hustle!), wants to get their hands into code and is excited to learn all areas of our stack.

Responsibilities

  • You will actively participate in the design, development, and maintenance of our database, web, and mobile solutions - we truly mean full stack access and we are constantly looking at better ways to serve our clients
  • You are a champion for user experience and take pride in coding a glorious interface, wonderful widgets and stunning visualizations - our clients love how great things look and we are always looking to do better
  • You know that there is such a thing as beautiful code and you are not afraid to fight for it while delivering exciting and transformative features
  • You will design and develop complex software solutions based not only on requirements, but with scalability and performance in mind
  • You will mentor and collaborate with other team members
  • You will participate in software design/code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to company standards and usability guidelines

Qualifications

  • Education: CS Degree, or equivalent - if you know your stuff and know how to produce products we want to talk
  • Experience: 2+ years experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English (French skills are great but not required)
  • Our Tech Stack includes (but not exclusive to, and hey we don't expect anyone to know it all, we just want to get you excited about what you will be working with)
    MVC5, ASP, MySQL, Ajax, JSON, JQuery, AngularJS, Rest, Git, Gitlab, Teamcity, LESS, Bootstrap, Dapper, Fluent Migrator, Raygun, Hangfire, Twilio, Typescript
  • Our future Tech Stack can/will include HL7 integrations, creating new projects and new applications as we expand our product line

At Skip the Waiting Room we improve patient experiences by bringing walk in clinics online. Through dynamically generated and updated websites, schedules, online registrations, departure notifications/reminders we are transforming how patients interact and access health care.

Salary

$40,000 and up with experience, and other factors being considered. Stock options, benefits, vacation etc are also available.
